Durable power of attorney has provisions in it which makes it a powerful document under certain circumstances. These circumstances can be an accident of the principal, unsoundness of mind of the principal, unconsciousness of the principal or any other similar scenarios.
When durable medical power of attorney is activated the agent gets lots of powers. These powers may include receiving payments, paying bills, managing business, managing home and many other affairs on behalf of the principal as long as the circumstances remain the same.
